How to Install eog-dev software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

eog-dev software package provides Development files for the Eye of GNOME, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install eog-dev

eog-dev is installed in your system.

Make ensure the eog-dev package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep eog-dev *

You will get with eog-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
